I have collected a list of open source Gerrit sites by simply googling for "gerrit status:open", see below. I was thinking that for each of the hosts we could even query some basic usage stats, e.g.:

repos: curl -X GET -G -N -s --stderr - https://gerrithub.io/projects/ -d n=100 -d S=0 -d query=state%3Aactive | grep '"id"'
users: curl -X GET -G -N -s --stderr - https://gerrithub.io/changes/ -d q=-age%3A1d -d O=80 | grep -A 3 '"owner"' | grep '"email"' | sort | uniq -c | sort
changes: curl -X GET -G -N -s --stderr - https://gerrithub.io/changes/ -d q=-age%3A1d | grep '"id"'

Regularly and automatically collecting this data and making it public (on our homepage?) would be great for arguing Gerrit's impact and importance to the world. :-)

We would probably have to ask for permissions from the site owners.
